No Scars with Early Acne Treatment

by Valerie Garner

Did you know that treating your acne breakouts inadequately is probably the biggest reason you have acne scars? Following through with the wrong acne treatment or simply waiting too long to treat acne can actually cause more damage to your vulnerable skin. This is why it is crucial that you be consistent with your acne treatment routine.

In fact, children should be taught from an early age that facial cleansing is just as important as brushing their teeth or washing their hair. Because after all, our skin is very important for the health of our internal body. Any breach in our skin's health can make us more susceptible to infection and disease.

Skin Care Basics

Children should start early on in life to adopt a basic skin care routine. Washing your face with warm water is a good way to remove dirt without exposing young skin to harsh soaps.

As children near puberty they should incorporate a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer to their basic skin care routine. Since puberty means an increase in sebum production and hormonal fluctuations, daily care will keep your skin clean and strong. Along with a daily cleansing routine you should use a facial acne cream to spot treat any problem areas.

A basic cleansing routine should start with a good cleanser. If you use the right one, you won't have to tone your skin to remove excess debris, sebum and skin cells. Don't forget, oily skin can withstand soapy cleansers better while cream cleansers are the best option for dry skin.

Before applying a moisturizer, make sure you cleanse and rinse your skin thoroughly. If you have oily skin, try a light, oil free moisturizer. If you have dry skin, then it's best that you use a non-comedogenic oil such as olive oil.

Whichever cleanser or acne cream you decide to use, make sure that they contain ingredients like retinol and salicylic acid to help regulate abnormal cell shedding. They also help regulate the production of excess sebum. Salicylic acid can penetrate the pores and help unclog pores from within.

These steps offer an acne solution for mild to moderate cases of acne. However, if you suffer from severe acne it is a good idea that you consult with a medical specialist before undergoing any other type of treatment.

What the Wrong Acne Treatment can Do

As mentioned before, acne scarring is the worst consequence of inadequately treated acne. If you were unable to prevent acne scarring then you can either treat them using surgery or chemical peels or try a much gentler approach such as an acne scar cream.

There are two common treatment options for facial acne scars and other types of acne scarring, these options are blue light acne treatment and acne laser therapy. If you prefer a gentler approach, try an acne scar cream like BIOSKINCLEAR. This natural skin care product can help replace damaged scar tissue with normal skin cells. The secret is in its main ingredient - Helix Aspersa Muller extract.
